Bylaws
The SCB-ES bylaws provide for the establishment of committees as a means to focus section activities and to foster communication with the membership. Committees are, at any time, accountable to the Section Board. Strategies and actions proposed by committees have to be approved by the SCB-ES Board of Governors. The BOG ultimately decides on procedures for implementation.

Reminder: to join a committee, you just need to be a member of SCB and contact the chair by e-mail (see Board or Committees). We normally meet face-to-face once or twice a year and all expenses (travel, accommodation) are covered by SCB unless you can get financial support. It is just a matter of how much time you can allocate to a project, a committee, a section, or to the whole SCB
