M.S. Assistantship in Raptor/Songbird Ecology at Boise State University

The Barber Lab seeks an M.S. graduate student to lead a project investigating the effects of anthropogenic noise on raptor and songbird habitat use patterns. The position will include three years of Teaching Assistantship funding via the Raptor Biology program at Boise State University in the Department of Biological Sciences. We seek an individual that is comfortable working alone and in small groups in rugged field conditions. The applicant should have an excellent working knowledge of western birds and be keen to spend long hours maintaining electronics and performing point counts in both hot and cold weather.
