Internships in Wildlife Rehabilitation - Winter and Spring

A TreeHouse intern is immersed in every aspect of the operation of a large wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education center. Animal care makes up a large portion of an intern’s duties, but other tasks may include the design and construction of new enclosures, development and conducting of education programs, assisting with animal rescues and releases, and other projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be currently enrolled or a recent graduate in biological sciences, veterinary medicine, environmental studies, or a related field. TreeHouse interns need to have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated. It is strongly recommended that applicants have at least 3 months of experience working with animals.
Amenities: On-site housing is provided.
Payment: A small stipend ($200/month) may be available.
