Faculty Position: Coastal Ecologist/Biologist

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field, appropriate postdoctoral training and a demonstrated ability or strong potential to establish and maintain a vigorous, extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and mentoring students in our undergraduate and graduate programs (see http://biology.cos.ucf.edu for departmental details) and will be considered for a secondary joint appointment in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering. UCF provides competitive startup funds and teaching loads; it is designated as a research university of very high activity (RU/VH) by the Carnegie Foundation and an ‘Up-and-Coming School’ by U.S. News and World Report.
