Improving lab/field exercises in conservation biology classes.

Description: This workshop very squarely sits within stated SCB Goal #4 (Education).  Our intentions are (a) to foster a dialogue about conceptual considerations/objectives and actual elements necessary to improve the lab/field components of conservation biology courses, and (b) to introduce a new on-line archive of lab/field exercises that can be contributed to and accessed by SCB members.  Although it does not have any unique relationship to the theme of the meeting, it is relevant to education in the entire discipline.
