Become an SSWG Ambassador

In order to facilitate conservation social science knowledge-sharing in countries under-represented in the SSWG's membership, the Membership Committee has launched the SSWG Ambassadors program.

Ambassadors are volunteers who will represent the SSWG in these regions by:

  1. Disseminating information about the SSWG activities and resources to researchers, practitioners, and students interested in conservation social science
  2. Encouraging SSWG involvement and feedback
  3. Communicating ideas for SSWG activities and membership involvement to the appropriate SSWG Board members.

We already have a handful of passionate, dedicated conservation social scientists but are looking for more! If you're interested or know someone who would be a perfect Ambassador, please contact the Ambassador Coordinator for more information (Annie Claus, annie.claus@wwfus.org).
