The SSWG was created to provide a forum for social science within SCB and the broader conservation community. The scale and diversity of SSWG membership and activities have grown rapidly since the group's establishment in October, 2003. Building upon this foundation, the SSWG will continue expanding its membership and activities in the coming years.
