Membership in the Austral and Neotropical America Section of the Society for Conservation Biology is available to any active member of the SCB. The SCB is, "...an international professional organization of over 8000 individuals dedicated to promoting the scientific study of the phenomena that affect the maintenance, loss, and restoration of biological diversity. The Society's membership comprises a wide range of people interested in the conservation and study of biological diversity: resource managers, educators, government and private conservation workers, and students."
Section membership provides the opportunity to network with professionals throughout your field of interest or region of origin, in this case, ANA. No dues or registration fees are charged for Section Membership, all positions are voluntary to forward the mission of the Section and the Society as a whole.
