Donations to SCB promote the science of conservation
biology and protect the diversity of life on Earth
• Donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. If you donate equities owned more than a year, you can avoid
tax on the capital gains and reduce income tax by deducting the fair market value as a charitable contribution.
