Ahead to CONSERVATION EDUCATION: FORMING A WETLAND/RESEARCH PARTNERSHIP WITH TEACHERS

MARINE SECTION ESTABLISHED

The marine section is very close to becoming a reality. After the 2001 annual meeting, an invitation to join the marine section was extended to all members of SCB. Nearly 100 people have signed up to participate in the new section. As soon as we have a firm commitment from 100 members we move to the next stage: electing a section representative to the Board of Governors. Many SCB members expressed interest in organizing marine symposia and several have been submitted for the 2002 annual meeting. Regardless of which symposia are selected, we expect more marine-oriented papers after the section is formed. Please join us in Canterbury!
