NEW AD HOC SCB EDUCATION COMMITTEE

At its recent strategic planning meeting, the Board created a new education committee. The charge of this committee is

To promote the education--at all levels, including preparatory and continuing--of the public, of biologists, and of managers in the principles of conservation biology.

If you would like to serve on this committee and help advance its mission, please send me an email. Please include a short description of the nature of your interest in education (e.g., K-12, undergraduate, graduate, public, professional continuing education). Once the committee is formed, we will discuss priorities for action.
