1999 SOCIETY FOR CONSERVATION BIOLOGY ANNUAL MEETING

The 1999 meeting will be held on the campus of the University of Maryland in College Park (about 12 km from downtown Washington, D.C.). The meeting's co-hosts are the University of Maryland's graduate program in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology and the Smithsonian Institution's Institute of Conservation Biology.

The meeting will be held 17-21 June 1999 (field trips scheduled for 21 June). Housing will be available in dormitories on campus or in nearby hotels, and meals will be available in the campus dining facilities.
