ACTIVITIES FOR COMPANIONS AND CHILDREN

Conservation-oriented activities and games for children ages 7-12, led by park naturalists, have been planned for Saturday and Sunday evenings from 7:00-9:00 P.M. The number of children that Conference Management can accommodate is limited, so please register your children in advance by contacting Conference Management. $5CDN per child. Snacks provided.

While formal activities for delegate companions have not been organized, there will be a table at the meeting fully stocked with local favorites' on everything from the best birding spots to off-the-beaten-path city tours. Conference Management also has contracted with two local companies that are offering guided hikes, rock climbing, interpretive walks, and much more for both adults and children during the meeting. Please contact them directly and mention that you are involved with the SCB meeting.

Coastal Connections specializes in interpretive hikes. They will also organize trips for groups of unaccompanied children. Telephone (800) 840-4453, email coastal@octonet.com, WWW http://www.octonet.com/~coastal.
