The Society for Conservation Biology's Undergraduate Student Travel Award provides US$500 for the presentation of research at the annual meeting of the SCB. Any undergraduate student who wishes to present the results of his or her research in conservation biology is eligible to apply. The award may be used for travel, other expenses, and presentation materials. Applications will be reviewed and selected by the SCB Undergraduate Student Award Committee. Selection will be based on the student's research abstract and professional potential in the area of conservation biology. Applications must include an expanded (three page) abstract of the conservation biology research results; a one-page letter of application stating involvement in conservation biology activities; a letter of recommendation from a faculty advisor; and college transcripts.
