Getting to Victoria by Air
Victoria International Airport is five minutes from Sidney, BC and thirty minutes from downtown Victoria. The airport serves daily flights from Vancouver International Airport, Seattle Tacoma Airport and direct flights from points throughout Canada and the United States. Regular float plane and helicopter service to Victoria’s downtown Inner Harbour is available from Vancouver and Seattle.

Getting to Victoria by Sea
Victoria is easily accessible by sea to mainland BC and Washington State by vehicle ferries, passenger ferries and catamarans. There are dozens of Daily services of ferries which travel across the straits providing breathtaking scenery and wildlife spotting. Have fun seeing how many eagles you can count. You may even see a pod of orcas!
British Columbia Ferry Services Inc.
Offers daily scheduled service for passengers and all types of vehicles between Tsawwassen (south of Vancouver) and Swartz Bay (north of Victoria), between Tsawwassen and Duke Point (south of Nanaimo) and between Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver) and Departure Bay (Nanaimo). BC Ferries also services the Gulf Islands and other ports in coastal BC.
M.V. Coho Ferry/Black Ball Transport
The M.V. Coho is a foot passenger and vehicle ferry which offers year-round daily service between Victoria BC Inner Harbour and Port Angeles, Washington, USA.

Offers daily scheduled high-speed catamaran services (passengers only) between Seattle and Victoria BC harbours.

There are daily scheduled motorcoach service available from Seattle, Vancouver (including Vancouver International Airport to Victoria) as well as to and from other Vancouver Island destinations. Motorcoach travel off the island includes ferry service.

Cycling
Victoria is Canada's cycling capital. All ferries that service Vancouver Island allow passengers to bring bicycles aboard for a small fee, or rent from a local bike shop or touring company. There are bike lanes on many of Victoria's downtown streets and bike racks on several city buses.
