Want to sponsor the IMCC 2 - Making marine science matter conference?
IMCC 2 needs your support. It takes a great deal of time and effort to hold this conference and next year's Victoria meeting is no exception. By sponsoring a IMCC 2, you will help fund student travel, pay for meeting rooms, and help with logistics. This year's conference organizers would be grateful if you or your organization could sponsor this year's conference.
Why sponsor the IMCC 2 conference?
To represent your organization or institution in the rapidly growing field of marine conservation/sciences
To publicize your organization or institution to world-class marine scientists, students, marine conservationists, and policy makers.
To advertise your organization and its products to marine professionals and develop new markets
To attract potential employees, collaborators, and graduate students.
What does sponsorship entail?
Conference sponsorship can take many forms. Organizations or institutions can pay for standard conference costs such as audio visual, coffee services, and internet fees. Organizations can also provide funds at several levels from $5,000 to $50,000, and each level represents a different level of acknowledgement for your organizations. These levels are described in the Prospectus, which can be downloaded from the link at the left.
This year we are adding another form of sponsorship where $500 will fund a student to attend the conference.
What else do I get for my sponsorship?
Your sponsorship will be acknowledged in the Conference Program Book. Sponsors will also be acknowledged on our web site (with links to sponsor's web sites depending on level of sponsorship) and conference promotional materials. Your representative(s) attending our conferences will be given name tags with color ribbons as sponsors.
How do I sponsor the IMCC 2 conference?
Please email Lori Strong, the sponsorship coordinator (IMCCSponsorship@conbio.org) and we will provide you detailed instructions on how to sponsor a conference. Government sponsors will be provided with the necessary information to successfully send funds to the conference organizers.
Please help IMCC 2 by sponsoring the Victoria Conference today.
