Main Meeting Venue 5-9 Dec:
SKYCITY Convention Centre

88 Federal Street, Auckland
The opening ceremony, final banquet, student networking event, Meet the BOG, Learn over Lunch and full programme for Dec 6th- 9th will be held at the SKYCITY Convention Centre. This venue is located within the Auckland central business district within walking distance to the University of Auckland, ferry terminal, Britomart (bus terminal), and waterfront. The Auckland Airport is about 45 minutes away by bus, car or taxi. The Airbus departs every 15 minutes to the city, and costs about ~NZ$16 each way (a discount is given for return trips, get off on stop #3 and then a short/uphill walk to SkyCity). Shuttles are ~NZ$25 per person and depart fairly regularly. If you are traveling by taxi, they are located outside the domestic and international terminals and cost approximately NZ$70 into the city. If you are traveling by car, take the Southern Motorway north, exit at Nelson Street and follow the signs direct to SKYCITY. *Information provided by SkyCity.

Secondary Meeting Venue 2-5, 10-11 Dec:
University of Auckland's Owen G. Glenn Business Building

12 Grafton Road, Auckland
Short courses and workshops scheduled for the above dates will take place at this venue.  The Marine Think Tank is also taking place here on Dec 2nd -4th. This venue is within walking distance from Queen Street or SkyCity (15min walk ~1.2km) for those who are happy to walk uphill. If you are arriving at this venue straight from the airport on the Airbus, get off at stop #2 and continue down Symonds Street, taking a right on Grafton Road to reach the OGG building (short walk).

SkyCity bus depot for field excursions
102 Hobson Street Street, Auckland
Located on the back (west) side of SkyCity, this bus pull through area will be where field excursions buses will meet their riders for the Goat Island, Waitakere, and Tawharanui trips.

Auckland Ferry Terminal
99 Quay Street, Auckland
This is the location for ferry departures of field excursions and the Rangitoto Island Dinner Cruise. Please make sure you are present 15min before the departure of your ferry. Pier Map

Kelly Tarlton's
23 Tamaki Drive, Orakei, Auckland
This marine attraction is the venue for the Marine Think Tank Final Reception. The city bus departs from the Britomart Transport Centre every 15mins, 7 days a week. Go to bus stop D13 - Tyler Street and allow 20-25 minutes to arrive. Bus prices are from $3.20 per adult. During the day a free shuttle bus runs from 172 Quay Street across from the ferry terminal.

Empire Tavern
137 Victoria Street West, Auckland
Located on the corner of Victoria and Nelson Streets four minutes' walk from SKYCITY, the Empire Tavern is hosting the Student Networking event.

Auckland War Memorial Museum
Auckland Museum can be easily reached from any part of the city, by car or public transport. The Museum is close to the motorways and the city centre and in easy walking distance from the popular shopping and cafe areas of Parnell Village and Newmarket.

Auckland CBD Bus Map
The Britomart Transport Centre is located at the bottom of Queen Street and next to the ferry terminal. Trains and buses run from this station.
