SURVEY
Bridging the divide: how land use planners and conservation biologists join forces to achieve resource protection in California
organized by Liz Chattin (Ventura County, California Planning Division), Christina Danko, and Stephanie Pincetl
We strongly believe that better protection of our natural areas in California can be achieved only by conservation biologists, land use planners, and policy makers joining forces to develop a common dialogue, partnerships, policies and implementation. We welcome
you to attend SCB's annual meeting and participate in our workshop to continue this process.
In addition to welcoming your participation at the meeting and workshop, we ask that you complete the following brief survey so that we may better understand the needs of planners, agency biologists, consulting biologists, and policy makers. In addition to completing the survey yourself, please ask your partners and colleagues to complete the survey (and attend the meeting and workshop) and return their responses to Liz Chattin at
elizabeth.chattin@ventura.org. If you have any questions, please contact Liz Chattin. The results of this survey will be available to participants at the workshop and on request by email following the workshop. In addition, a pamphlet describing land use and conservation resources in California will be available at the workshop.
